My artwork in this collection is a deep dive into the fascinating world of binary code. I've always been drawn to techniques like pointillism and ink stippling, and I wanted to see if I could create something similar using actual code. After a lot of experimentation, I developed a unique process that uses hundreds of layers in vector art to create this distinct style. Images that the medium is the message!
This artwork blurs the lines between digital and analoge, prompting us to consider: is it an image, or is it simply lines of code? You can really see this play out when the pieces are printed large. From a distance, they appear as complete images, but as you get closer, the code subtly reveals itself. Up close, the individual lines of binary become more prominent than the overall image.
