In this series I have continued to build on the modern pointillism techniques establish in the first series but have moved into colour pieces. When drawing with binary code and text in colour the difficulty and need to layer becomes exponentially more complex. This series focusses on our relationship to our planet, and touches on topics of climate change, systemic greed and consumerism. Most are drawn with binary incorporating the relationship between the hidden encoded message and the image. But some use the more direct form of text to convey that sub message. Often playing with the words becoming the component in which the piece is made of as well as a bearing on the meaning.
In this series of pieces that focus on our relationship to technology. This series explores modern pointillism through the use of binary code strings. Each piece in this series is drawn with a specific binary phrase, that is translatable to a message. Adding an additional sub layer to the piece, I have explored the relationship between the composition of the image and this sub message. This series touches on topic like the metaverse, privacy and the parallels between machine and society.
